Hi Prospero,
About a year ago, my Wife was acting in your troupe on Mid-Summer Nights Dream. I am an instructor in the Technical Theatre Program at Rosebud School of the Arts and we have a student here who is interested in a Stage Management Job Placement in the Edmonton area in the fall and I wondered if you might be interested in undertaking such a thing.
From my experience of your work and my knowledge of Natalie Blanchard’s skills, I feel like this might be a really great opportunity for both Prospero and our student and hope we might be able to work out a situation that would be mutually beneficial. Natalie is a 4th year student in Rosebud and has worked as SM and ASM on a number of student and mainstage shows here in Rosebud. I feel like your company would be a fantastic place to fine tune her skills by gaining new experience in a different environment and with different professionals from those she has studied under.
If you have any interest in such a placement or would like to discuss how this might work further, I’d love to discuss it as you are able. I appreciate you likely have some plans, budgets, and details to work out before your next season is really set, but I wanted to plant the idea early so consideration could be made.
